The trail up Liberty springs was beautiful. The brook crossings were negotiable without getting wet and the trail was free of flowing water. There was one fallen tree before the Liberty Springs Campsite and two fallen trees on the ridge line between Mt. Liberty and Little Haystack. The ridge was covered in snow. Fortunately, the snow was hard enough to keep me from postholing often. Monday morning light snow fell so I'm not sure how the ridge is looking now. Liberty Springs was very slippery on the way down so poles are recommended.
