Date of Hike: 5/24/08
Trail Conditions: A little slippery and muddy in places. A few on-trail patches of snow and ice made for a bit of postholing, but not too bad. Not much trouble with blowdowns
Special Equipment Required: Good gripping soles for the slippery ledges. Hiking poles were helpful on the steeper sections. Gaiters to keep the mud off your legs or pants
Comments: Traversed the LT from App Gap to Lincoln Gap. A beautiful hike and lots of fun. I especially enjoyed the scambly bits. No trouble with bugs until we got to Lincoln Gap
