Date of Hike: July 7 + 8

Trail Conditions: Treadway in excellent shape, much of it newly brushed out. No problem blowdowns. Puncheon between Styles Peak and Peru Peak were wet (and slippery) on Saturday morning. All bog bridges and rocks had better traction on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday morning (Mad Tom Notch to 11+30) was quite dry, and a fast hike.

No special equipment needed.

Members of the Connecticut GMC were working on the trail between 11+30 and Mad Tom Notch. Bromley Shelter and composting privy are excellent.

Great hike, even though we didn't notice any dinosaur eggs.
