Trail Conditions: All trails snow-free. 2 blowdowns on Crawford; none elsewhere. All trails a bit wetter than average, due to last night's storms. No meaningful mud. Overall, excellent shape.

Special Equipment Required: Summer conditions. Need windbreaker above tree line. Waterproof boots. Bug juice ONLY in a 1/4 mile zone (3000-3400') on Crawford in mid-afternoon.

Comments: Great day for this. Bug free except for a small section of Crawford in afternoon. Quite windy (but warm enough, so no chill factor) above tree line, especially on Jackson summit. Trails a bit wet from rain, but no problem if boots waterproof. Incredibly comfortable after the recent heat wave!
