Trail Conditions: Some mud on the walk to the peak of the ridges trailhead along the pond, otherwise - most of this hike is on talus, so the conditions are fairly stable. A few minor blowdowns in the woods in the cols, but nothing that wasn't very easy to get around. Special Equipment Required: Lots and lots of DEET!
Comments: We were constantly swarmed by clouds of blackflies for the entire 7.5 hours it took us to complete this circuit. We didn't take a single break longer than 30-60 seconds due to this. It was awful! It was also kind of on the warm side.
