Trail Conditions: Trails somewhat wet from Saturday night's rain. Clark Brook trail could use some serious brushing in places. This is a nice trail that's mostly easy to follow but be prepared for some encounters with the fauna! Parts of the Long Trail around Mt. Wilson are also pretty grown in. I'm not too surprised about Clark Brook given that it's in the Bread Loaf Wilderness and off the beaten path but I would think the LT might get more attention!
Special Equipment Required: Some mosquitoes. Black flies annoying at the look-outs. No problems with bugs as long as you're moving. Shorts, T-shirt, food, water and bug spray were all I needed.
Comments: Great day for a hike. Lots of sun shine, unlike the gloomy Sunday I left in Boston.
