Conditions: Very good conditions overall. Ski slopes steep and a tad slippery on descent. Some of AT slabs below treeline wet and slippery. Weather was absolutely amazing 
Special Equipment Required: none, although poles very helpful descending ski slopes. NO BUGS!
Comments: Awesome Independence Day morning on Saddleback. Was able to see from Presi's to Katahdin. Turned west and headed down to Eddy Pond. Saw very few people on this hike, but met a large group looking for the Bicknell's Thrush, which they found just below the summit
