Trails are all in good shape. All the greenery along the trails is very lush. 19 Mile Brook is lovely with its pools & waterfalls. I started very early so missed most of the humidity. I ran into "California Joe", an AT thru hiker who began in Georgia and was on the final stretch of hiking 3 more weeks!
Views from Mt. Hight are wonderful. Zeta Pass a little difficult but mostly this was not a hard hike. Sunscreen and poles very helpful. I hate black flies!!
