I'm reading the morning paper and see that ORDA is proposing to build 4 "Cabins" on Whiteface intended to rent to "Corporate VIPs" for "what an ORDA official would only estimate being in the triple figures per day". The cabins would have electricity and propane and be built at an elevation of around 2800 ft.
The ORDA proposal described them as "day use destination huts". They would be located in an area currently designated "forever wild".
The APA ruled the constitutionality of this plan should be re-examined.
