Date of Hike:7/11
Trail Conditions: nice morning, AT as usual- mostly mellow, a bit wandering with rocks, roots, PUDs (which add perhaps 500' of ups to expected 1400+); nice little rock scramble near top; all a bit wet from recent T-storms---park about 6.4 miles from KI gate, walk down the road to AT crossing
Special Equipment Required: poles always useful
Comments: -excellent VFTT of much of ME AT route; saw several SOBOs; $6 charge at KI gate; KI area day/overnight use way down this year--laid back early morning hike
