Trail from the Lake Mansfield Trout Club is in spectacular shape for its whole length. Well-designed, solid treadway, gentle slope, nicely marked. Very pleasant, shaded ramble past waterfalls, beaver ponds.
Clara Bow Trail takes advantage of a natural jumble of rocks with some over, under, around and through scrambling - quite easy on a dry day. It might be "interesting" when wet. We took this trail from Taylor Lodge to the LT. About a tenth of a mile outbound from the Lodge is a very small but vicious patch of nettles that annoyed my left hand, leg, and arm. It's in a place where there is a dropoff on the right so one leans into the bushes on the left.
Nice morning walk to the ridge, through Nebraska Notch, and back to the Stowe side.
