Conditions: a bit muddy in the boggy spots
Comments: Very pleasant trail - lush mossy but open woods. A few of the granite rocks seem to show some interesting glacial wear and tear. Decent water sources along the lower half. The summit was awesome - excellent views from firetower footings and boulders - views of the presies, franconia ridge, bonds, sandwich range, etc., just awesome!!!! Seems somewhat underrated. I took the east side trail. Apparently the fire road comes up the other side.
