South & Middle Carter via 19 Mt. Brook Trail,Carter Dome, & Carter Moriah 8/31/08
Gorgeous sunny day with a cooling breeze. Trails are all in good shape. The views just past Middle Carter were spectacular. Colder on the ridge past Middle Carter. Poles and sunscreen helpful. A lot of people hiking today. Ran into a woman with a very happy black lab that she'd rescued from Katrina. Returned the same way I came up.
