Date of Hike: 9/8/2008
Trail Conditions: All water crossings no problem. Ladders in good shape. Ledges on Six Husbands Dry. Sphinx Trail is a wet trail and extra time should be allowed for careful footing. Section of Great Gulf Trail from Boulder Falls to The Bluff has some erosion, possibly from Hannas recent passing. Upper section of Six Husbands getting grown in by scrub on the sides making it like a carwash to go through.
Special Equipment Required: Warm clothing. Summits are starting to get colder these last couple weeks.
Comments: Congrats to ADKnBVI for completing their 48 on Jefferson Yesterday. Looks like the summits cleared an hour after we left.
