Trail Conditions: Excellent - All three trails in fantastic shape. Carter Dome trail was a little damp towards the bottom, though that was to be expected given all of the rain that fell on Friday. The water crossings were both easy.
Special Equipment Required: None.
Comments: What a spectacular day to be out in the mountains! The conditions were just perfect, which was a pleasant surprise considering the questionable weather forecast... and the interesting cloud cover made for some exciting photographs. I had the pleasure of meeting lots of very friendly people, including the FOT48 team for South Carter, and a hiker who was kind enough to take a picture of me in my "special" summit attire.
Middle Carter = #42 for me!
