I climbed Ragged Mountain in the Camden Hills yesterday. The quickest way up is via the T-bar trail at the Camden Snow Bowl and then follow a wet, rocky path up to the summit. This is not the caliber of other mountains on this list, but it does climb 800 feet in 1.1 miles and the trail goes straight up. This is an excellent tune up hike or one to bring kids on. I brought all 6 of mine, including a 4 year old who made it the entire way, and a 2 year old strapped to my back. Stupendous views of Megunticook, Mt. Battie, and Camden from the top. The ski paths have excellent footing though they are quite steep. You have a choice of following the chair lift, T-bar, or the power lines, though the T-bar path takes you the farthest up and leads to the rocky path.
