Perfect weather for a hike up two of Maine's 4,000 footers. Lots of NoBo's heading for Kahtadin. Access via the Caribou Valley Road (aka Caribou Pond Rd.) was fair to the parking lot at the AT crossing, but you need a car with good clearance. Beyond the AT CVR is passable only by foot or ATV.
