Mt. Chase 9/20/08

Difficult to find the parking lot and trail head as brush has grown in and obscured the signs. Once actually on the trail, there are many other ATV trails that branch off which make this very confusing at times. None of the trails are marked. There are a couple of wooden sings that have the words "MT. Trail" on them, otherwise, the paint has worn off and it's just a blank piece of wood nailed to the tree. If you look hard you can find a tattered piece of flagging tape here and there. I constructed a few cairns at crucial intersections to help out. Once above the old fire wardens cabin the trail is easier to follow, and the flagging tape more prominent.

Tried to track the International AT but the signage was lacking for that too
