Date of Hike:10/19
Trail Conditions: Good, Blazing is present but leaf covered trail can make for confusion up in the open hardwoods.
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: Optional - Hiked in from the Gorham side and discovered the trailhead had been moved since the last time I went up. It is now in a gravel pit at the end of a 1/4 mile dirt extension of Promenade street in Gorham (drive past the cemetary and into the woods). Where the trail hits the pipeline right of way turn right and go until you intersect the snowmachine trail (where it goes into the woods). Watch for direction arrows as there are a couple of woods roads cutting off the main route.
A couple of hidden away adirondack shelters up on top await future winter visits!
