Didn't quite expect to be walking in snow from the very start, but we were! Only an inch or so at the most, but it was there!
Cherry Mtn. Tr. quite wet, leaf and snow covered from the start, lots of fresh moose tracks.
Martha's Mile was beautiful as always. Priscilla came within 20 feet of a massive moose who was bedded down on the side of the trail before they both startled each other and off the moose went RUNNING! We just stood there!
Small amounts of ice over the steep section just before the summit of Owl's Head, but easy enough to get around. Presidental's were beautiful, all snow covered and in the bright blue sky.
Owl's Head trail, snowy and leaf covered, tricky descent, and very wet, mucky and muddy at the bottom. We gave up and just ended up sinking into the swampy water after awhile.
