Trail Conditions- Below 2600 feet, Jerusalem Trail is bed of leaves with areas of standing water . At 2600, mostly full snow cover. Some ice patches at 3330 feet, but not an issue. On Long Trail, anything goes. Areas of muck, snow, dry dirt and rocks. Most of the trail manageable without issue.

Equipment- I wore Microspikes since I had them. Not necessary, but I felt they helped. Poles for me as usual. I carried full winter gear, including snowshoes to get the feel of the heavy pack. Only used the spikes though.

Comments- FYI- Lincoln Gap Road closed 2.7 miles in from Rt 100 in Warren. Changed my plans to this hike. Skies mostly clear, the ridge hike was great. The change in conditions of the trail and mud sometimes got frustrating, but still a great day.
