fishing in the high peaks

Does anyone know if there are any good fishing spots in the high peaks region?
Im looking to combo a fishing trip with an assault on Grey. (I know its a weird combo)

check out the calamity pond and Henderson Brook. other than those two streams i think your outta luck...

i tried last year at Colden, Ava. lake, Flowed lands and got nothing...i think the lakes are all dead. i didn't any movement anywhere..

yesterday however, i saw 3 SMALL browns at marcy damn....

this was a conversation last year and i think that conclusion was the best fishing was in the NE part of the HIgh Peaks, Boquet, Ausable, Round Pond....

Johns Brook is always good. If your coming from that direction.

I have caught trout in Lake Colden.....Also in Johns Brook. Nice brookies in Colden good luck!
