Sugarloaf, Spaulding, Abraham - november 9, 2008
route: walked CVR from AT crossing to Caribou Pond, bushwhacked to Spaulding Mtn Campsite, hiked Mt Abraham Side Trail to Abraham, AT over to Sugarloaf, down ski trails near West Mtn chair lift
Trail Conditions: wet, muddy, no snow anywhere ... Carrabassett River crossing near AT / CVR junction was not crossable ... CVR was drivable in 2WD car to the bridge four miles in, easy 0.3 mile walk to AT crossing from there
hiked up Crockers from AT / 27 junction november 8, down to CVR, no snow anywhere
Special Equipment Required: nothing special, hiked in sneakers all weekend ... carried microspikes for no apparent reason
congrats to Michael & Monica for reaching their 67th NE 4ker
found a pair of glasses on Abraham's summit ... PM me and i'll mail them to you
