Trail Conditions: Lower areas muddy and wet. Mid mountain dry with a trace of snow in some spots. Higher up: snow covered rocks and roots with a fair amount of ice around summit ledges.
Special Equipment Required: Did not use any traction devices. Microspikes would have been the best item today for the upper third of the trail. Hiking poles helped as usual.
