Anyone interested in getting together for some trailrunning?

The Taconic Crest Trail is quite close to home for me. I would also like to

check out some of the trails mentioned at adktrailrun.com which provides a

multitude of route maps (and some gear review).

With winter approaching some of the backwoods roads are also excellent choices. But I plan on running the approaches to High Peaks also!

Hope to see you on the trails!

Well Inge, you know that I am up for that; but you always go on a Wednesday when I'm stuck at work! Let's try to make it work sometime this winter...we have to train for the trail run next year. - Tom

When were you looking to go on this destruction of wilderness and all that is holy tour? I'm into going just concerned that our soft shoes might crack some frozen mud and cause a drought in California resulting in more forest fires.:(

Hoffman Notch snowshoe

Tom, Cory!
How about doing the Hoffman Notch course? I'm thinking about doing that event this year.
We might be able to get away w/o snowshoes still.

Cory - I'm more of a redneck, but I'll bring a patch for your bleeding heart.

I like the Hoffman Notch trail. If I recall correctly, I've been through once in Winter and once in Summer. We'll need 2 cars. From what I've read there will probably be about 10" of snow at the height of land right now...
