Trail and Mountain names should be posted in thread Title
Date of Hike:11/27/2008
Trail Conditions: A thin layer of kernal snow up high. The trail was part creek so there was an ice shell over leaves in spots. 1 or 2 spot solid ice over rock easily bypassed. A big pool to negotiate going over to the tri-state marker.
Watch Out! It looks like someone fell through the deck of the little bridge over the first brook west of Mt Washington Road-- walk on the beams, not the deck.
Special Equipment Required: None with care.
Comments:
Mt Washington Road Still Open on both ends in CT. A raven up high, but crunching through the ice/leaves probably scared any thing bigger away. Took a side trip to the CT/MA/NY marker-- its still there. Alot of mountain bike tracks on Brace.
