Trail Conditions: Dry, no winter conditions at bottom. Up top was a sampling of the ice storm the northeast experienced. Trees bent over from the weight of the ice. Many damaged small trees.

Special Equipment Required: Warm winter clothes.

Comments: Originally, I'd intended to do perhaps a traverse of the Tom range to keep in shape. Nearing the top, I found a great discovery. Since this stick season usually doesn't have any good photographic subjects, this was a change. Attempting to follow the M-M trail was difficult. Well by 10am the temps were rising, ice was falling off the trees. The towers had large chunks of ice falling. Real dangerous. Time to head down.
