Nye & Street

Hiked to Nye and Street 1/4/2009. Crisp morning with hard packed trail the entire trip. Broken out; the registered listed a few who hiked here yesterday. (Jungle and Steve???) Trail thin in places down low. Crossed Indian Pass Brook at the one place it seemed passable where others had gone before. It sounded hollow but held fine. Used snowshoes all day, poles essential. Street had a lot more snow than Nye, but still the base isn't that deep.
