Date of Hike: Sat 1/3/08
Trail Conditions: An inch or so of light powder on hard pack to the main summit, then knee-deep (and deeper) powder heading over to the West Peak and beyond.
Special Equipment Required: Bare booted to the main summit. One of us used crampons, just for the heck of it. Snowshoes where necessary heading west from the main summit.
Comments: We hiked most of the way down the west side toward Tripoli Rd. After the woods opened up we whacked (for about an hour) northeasterly toward the road, hitting it close to mile marker 4. It was a beautiful whack with open woods with a few ridges and brooks to cross.
Your name: rocksnrolls (with dougeh and scenicnh)
