FYI ...Trailhead Parking..1/9/9

While heading up to Bretton Woods today I took note of some of the trailhead areas and their parking status

Basin..both sides, open and plowed

Lafayette...both sides open and plowed

Tramway obviously open and plowed

Hiker lot at Western Garfield lot...not plowed..big sign directing you to Beaver Brook..looks like some had skied there

Area at the end of Trudeau Road..plowed for several cars

Haystack Road plowed but gated

Beaver Brook.. plowed..large sign for hikers acessing Garfield, Galehead etc..trail had a couple of sets of skis on it but unpacked 5-6 inches of snow

Winter Zealand lot ..plowed

Zealand road....plowed but gated

Access road to the cog...plowed all the way with plenty of parking at the end..

looks like a good winter weekend....enjoy

as for the skiing today..excellent snow conditions with poor visibility..blowing light snow and fog made for extremely flat light...worse as you got higher
