Via Burrows trail--very fine walking surface doable with anything from bareboot, microspikes (used by 5 of 5 today), crampons, snowshoes to meadow. Conifers with ~8" beautiful snow covering branches.
Temp @ meadow~2F with little wind.
Deeper fresh powder 4"-10" to summit, but manageable with any footgear.
Temps on summit -5 to 0; wind gusting to est 40 to occasional 50; Rock covered with ice; krummholz covered with rime ice.
No distant views, but fully appreciated and vivid arctic experience, the sort of thing that keeps one alive.
