Gould Trail was free and clear of down branches from the Great '08 ice storm. Minimal activity on trail, snow is partially packed from snowshoes. Descended via Cheshire-Harbor trail. Lots of snowmobiles, but trail is groomed nicely.
The forest shows considerable damage from the ice storm, but the trail is clear all the way.
Excellent day on Greylock, views were excellent, the forests were even better. Red spruce, balsam fir, and lots of yellow birch.
