Whiteface & Esther 2/7/09

Headed to Whiteface/Esther from ASRC, road was plowed into the hiker parking area. Well packed trail to Whiteface. It was windy, but not as strong as last Sat, and much warmer. Headed down for Esther. Again, we found a well packed trail. Winds picked up and we hiked into the clouds on Esther. On the way out it rained for a bit. All trails today were well packed, snow got heavy and sticky later in the day, I think there may be icy spots once it all refreezes, hopefully we get some fresh snow on top of it soon.
