Conditions: Well-packed but soft snow (getting very soft by midday). The scrambles are a mix of snow/ice/water/rock and may be a little tricky.
Equipment required: Probably barebootable with care, but I was very happy to have Microspikes in the mixed conditions.
Comments: Hard to beat for a T-accessible hike, but the routefinding is always tricky in the Fells, made worse by many blazes being on rock and thus snowcovered.
