Lafayette, Lincoln, & Little Haystack via Old Bridle Path to Ridge tr. to Falling Waters.
Trail well packed all the way. Ice on the ridge trail most of the way. No downs the trail is in really great shape. Crossed about eight people during the day. My thermometer said it was fifteen at the top of Lafayette with winds of about twenty to twenty five. No wind anywhere else really.
We wore snowshoes to just after the hut then switched to crampons to the cross ridge. Switched back to snowshoes at Shining Rock to the lot. Some traction is recommended.
Clear blue beautiful mountain skies. Great views of everything.
