Trail: Mount Pemigewasset Trail

Trail Conditions: Snow and ice free until the last 0.3 mile or so, but that won't be there for much longer. The trail is barebootable to the summit. Once the snow appears, there is a consolidated monorail from that point to the summit. Minor postholing does occur if you step off the monorail (although the entire monorail is no more than a foot high at it's depeest, so you're not in much danger there). The middle 1/3 of the trail has a lot of spring runoff running right through the trail. Waterproof footwear is a good idea here. The ledges at the summit are clear of all snow and ice.

Special Equipment Required: None. Trail is barebootable.

Comments: Beautiful warm day to be out. An early start gave us the summit to ourselves for a good 20 or so minutes, but lots of people were heading up as we were heading down.
