Rt.113 is still closed. However, Bog Road is open all the way to the gated trailhead and the road is dry! Trail conditions were pretty good, however mud as expected in the low lying swampy areas, pretty deep in spots. Not buggy yet. Very little snow on the trails. Summit dry. No need for foot traction. Hellebore (Indian poke), blooming Wake Robin, Painted Trilliums, and blooming violets here and there. Lots of cascading waterfalls from this side of the mountain. A really great hike with beautiful views. We expect Rt. 113 to be open in a few weeks. #99/#56 Jeff and Lisa
