Date of Hike: Sat. 5/2-Sunday 5/3
Trail Conditions: we took the coastal trail both ways. It's muddy in spots, and roots and bog bridges are slick.
Special Equipment Required: short gaiters, waterproof boots, plenty of water, camera and tripod!
Comments: outstanding coastal scenery. My third backpacking trip to the Cutler Coast, and I'll be back again soon.
Thanks to Kathy B for leading and organizing. Thanks also to Kevin, Foster, Tom and Christine for their most excellent and enjoyable company on this adventure. The Blueberry Pie Incident at Helen's in Machias will not go unavenged!! =)
