Trail Conditions: Some muddy spots. Trail is wider than I remember. Noticed
4x4 tracks in a few places. No real damage.
Special Equipment Required: Deet, squitos were slow. Nats were just annoying.
Comments: Went from Gulf Rd. trailhead around Soapstone to Hopkins Rd. A little over 5 miles each way. Coming back, went up and over Soapstone. Nice cardio after a long hike. Nice burn.
Ran into a couple guys on motocross bikes, seemed pleasant enough. I don't have any reservations at all about their sharing our foot trails. Park officials may differ.
