Date of Hike: 5/21/2009
Trail Conditions: Up Eyebrow, down Old Speck Trail (AT) - there is some mud, and running water over exposed slabs. There are 3 short (longest 30 feet) sections of rotten snow/monorail - I postholed up to my knee once.
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: Black flies are out. Worse in the parking lot and in the afternoon. Mostly swarming, a few biters.
