conditions - snow between G Boulder and Slide Peak, snow on Davis Path up to four feet but solid to walk on when that deep. When less snow, sometimes rotten but then can be avoided on the side. Numerous blowdowns on all trails that can usually be easily avoided. Worst on Davis Path. We took the whack that avoided the two nearby crossings on the Iso trail but the other two lower crossings were relatively easy though we stepped on rocks beneath the water. The trail was wet but not much more so than in summer.

equipment - I used gaiters which helped for the occasional post-holes. Dave and Jeff did not. Poles.

other - no bugs though the day was cool and breezy.
