Date of Hike: 5/23
Trail Conditions: Some mud on Cedar Brook to Hancock Loop. Ascended North - no problems. From North to South - some snow, some mud - nothing that can't be avoided. Descended South - there was a steep section with some snow which slowed us a little, but not too bad - some mud for sure.
Special Equipment Required: poles helped on South descent.
Comments: The 5/19 post was helpful - although we went up the North anyway - the South descent wasn't that big of a deal, although we were slowed at times just to be careful - snow on its way out it appears. Saturday ended up being great - chilly enough for no bugs and the ceiling was high enough for great VFTT - even has some sun.
