Apologies if this link already has been posted on VftT, but could not find in a quick search. Some of you may recall that Alex hiked/ran the White Mountain hut-to-hut (Madison-Carter-Pinkham-Lakes.....Lonesome) in 12 hrs 11 min in the mid-1960s, a record that we believe still stands. Another blog to bookmark along with Sinkyfeet's and Steve Smith's.
