My son, John, and I climbed Dial and Nippletop on Saturday, May 23, 2009 via H.G. Leach trail and returned by Elk Pass.
Trail conditions were very good. Surprisingly good weather including a good breeze, not too hot, low humidity and no rain despite predictions. Visibility was excellent, and bugs were minimal.
