Trails: out and back via Wildcat Ridge Trail
Conditions: muddy in spots/in the cols, otherwise ledges about half dry. The initial river crossing was a little high for me - I ended up shimmying across the log in the middle and only getting my feet a little wet. Watched my favorite water bottle jettison into the river and bob happily away to its presumed untimely demise in the falls. Bummer... Anyway, water level dropped slightly by noon for the return.
Special Equipment: bug stuff not needed yet
Comments: nice day to be out! I just beat the showers. Also visited the falls - very nice area!!!
