Conditions in Great Gulf

Anyone been in Great Gulf lately? Crossed Parapet Brook after The Bluff? Or climbed up to Gulfside Tr?

Sunday June 7

I hiked in the Great Gulf Trail and then up the Wamsutta to the Alpine Garden. Trails are a little wet but almost completely free of ice and snow.

Great Gulf Trail is clear. The Wamsutta has some debris, but I cleaned up a couple blowdowns and there are no major obstacles.

Wamsutta is pretty steep and strenuous. A couple of the scrambles could be quite challenging for shorter hikers. I'm 5'11'' and was thankful for every inch. Interesting trail though.
