Date of Hike: Friday 6/19/09
Trail Conditions: Hi Cannon - Evidence of many hikers bypassing many switchbacks manking for an eroded trail. Trail was narrow and the shoulder brushing spruce quickly soaked everything I was wearing.
Kinsman Ridge - Wet and muddy. Many ankle deep mud holes on the ridge required navigation. Some hopping other puddles needed a boat!
Lonesome Lake trail - Other than the wet conditions and occasional runoff the trail was ideal.
Special Equipment Required: Rain gear and waterproof boots.
Comments: Commenced hike at 4:00 PM and had the trails to myself. Enjoyed the isolation and solitude of a popular destination. Zero visibility from the Cannon Summit tower. NE Cannon Ball #72/100
