Long Trail from Plot Road to Laraway Mountain and Corliss Camp, Davis Neighborhood Trail to road.
Date of Hike: 7/4/09
Trail Conditions: Between Plot Road and Laraway are two stream crossings that were impossible to cross without wading (shin-deep). The trail was somewhat dry in many spots, but there were significant sections of ankle-deep standing water. Much of the trail between Codding Hollow and Corliss Camp was a fast-running stream bed.
Special Equipment Required: waterproof boots would probably be helpful, or shoes that shed water quickly.
Comments: We've had a lot of rain in the past several days, so hopefully the water will subside once a few dry days hit. There was a gorgeous spot with waterfalls cascading off a cliff onto the trail, which made the whole trip worth the wet conditions.
