Trails: Carrigain Notch, Desolation, Signal Ridge
Conditions: A bit muddy on the lower end of the Notch trail but avoidable. Muddy at the start of Desolation but also avoidable, kept my boots clean all day! River crossings were all rock hoppable and it looks like all of the waterbars have now been cleared. No blowdowns.
Equipment Bug dope, skeeters were thick through the Notch trail, and in my case rain gear
Comments: Met a total of 5 people out on the trail, not surprising considering the wet weather. Kept my eyes peeled for moose on the Notch trail but to avail. The ascent up Desolation was great, love those almost vertical trails. Visiblilty was only about 25 feet at the top so no views, will have to do this one again on a nicer day.
