My buddy and I are planning to do Colden via the Trap Dike next weekend. Most of the people I've talked to (including my brother and best friend) have missed the exit to the slide on their first attempt. I'd like to avoid the bushwhack if possible. Any advice or detailed descriptions of how to find the exit?

Thanks!

Exit Here

Here is the waypoint from my last trip: WGS84 Coord. Frame (Lat/Lon/Ht)
EXIT N44.130661 W073.963522 3687.3

Here is some associated text from Andrew Lavigne's website:

The exit of the dike is reached at about the 3700-foot level. Attempting to exit out earlier than that will involve some very steep and scary face climbing on the lower slides. (The exit, when reached, is out to the right, as viewed when facing up the dike). Upon exiting the dike, you should find yourself on steep open slabs. Climb straight up towards the summit.

His site has some good pictures:

Early

A bit further up it is much easier and doesn't look like the class 4 move that is shown in the picture. Although, the picture is much deceiving, its not as exposed as the picture suggests.
